But at the core, my mission is simple: live honestly, speak boldly, and empower others to step into who they really are… without shrinking to fit in rooms they were never intended to be in.

Where I’ve Been

I haven’t lived a picture-perfect life — and I don’t pretend to. I’ve walked through divorce, single motherhood, mental health battles, and starting over more than once. For years, I tried to fit into boxes that never really fit: the polished professional, the perfect wife, the woman who had it “all together.” On the outside, it looked fine. On the inside, I was absolutely falling apart.

the turning point

My breaking point became my breakthrough. I realized that hiding my struggles and trying to live by someone else’s standards wasn’t serving me — and it wasn’t inspiring anyone either. The moment I chose to stop apologizing for who I am, to stop shrinking myself for the comfort of others, everything shifted. That decision birthed Unapologetically Heather — not just as a brand, but as a way of life.

Where I am now

Today, I lead Powerhouse Enterprise alongside my business partner, mentor new insurance agents and agency owners, host the Raw & Rising podcast, and speak on stages about authenticity, resilience, and breaking stigmas. I’m also a military spouse, a mom and bonus mom, a homeschool educator, and a runner — proof that you don’t have to fit into just one box. My mission is simple: to create spaces where people can rise through their struggles, find their voice, and live unapologetically.
